Below is a general outline of the process you can expect when you call M.H. Conslultants and access your benefit.

1) You or a covered family member calls M.H. Conslultants.

2) An M.H. Consultants Case Manager conducts a phone interview to determine the appropriate services needed. Appropriate services are located and the Case Manager provides options to you. The M.H. Consultants Case Manager also verifies your eligibility and your benefits.

3) The M.H. Consultants Case Manager refers you to the appropriate Provider(s). M.H. Consultants coordinates benefit information with the provider. The caller contacts the provider for an appointment.

4) M.H. Consultants then monitors your treatment to assure that you are receiving quality service. Treatment may include outpatient therapy, intensive outpatient programs, partial hospitalization programs, alcohol and drug detoxification and/or rehabilitation, inpatient programs, individualized aftercare programs, return-to-work counseling and continued outpatient support.

5) The claim forms are forwarded by your provider to M.H. Consultants. M.H. Consultants processes the claim and forwards them to your insurance company or payor for the balance. You are only responsible for a copay according your benefit plan.

6) After you complete the course of your treatment M.H. Consultants will follow-up with you to assure that you are not in need of any further assistance. If services are needed a Care Manager will assist you in accessing you benefit again.
