Brendan J. Young
President/CEO and Owner
Brendan is the President/CEO of Mental Health Consultants, Inc., a behavioral health consulting company that provides employee assistance programs (EAP) and behavioral health services to companies across the US. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. After graduation, he went on to participate in AmeriCorps NCCC and traveled the Mid-West United States doing volunteer service projects. Brendan earned a graduate degree is social services from Bryn Mawr College School of Social Work and Social Research. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a past President and Vice President of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA).
Valerie is the Executive Director at MHC , overseeing the business operations and development of their full spectrum of behavioral health and wellness services. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 35 years of clinical experience in the field of behavioral health, with 20 years in leadership positions. She has worked in a variety of settings which include outpatient community mental health, residential substance use treatment, inpatient psychiatric units, and employee assistance programs.
She received her undergraduate degree from Wilkes University and her graduate degree in Counseling from Marywood College. Valerie has worked exclusively in the employee assistance field for the past 28 years and is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) and qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). She has extensive experience in managed behavioral healthcare, operations, administration and program development.
Morghan H. Terry
Morghan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Employee Assistance Professional and qualified Substance Abuse Professional. She has extensive clinical experience working with children, adults, couples and families. Morghan is trained in family systems therapy, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care and clinical staff education. In addition to her clinical experience, Morghan is knowledgeable about managed care, business relations and program marketing. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University and her graduate degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University.
